Our story

The Perinatal Professionals Collective by Modern Motherhood was born from a desire to create a professional village of support and collaboration.

Holding families through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood is beautiful and meaningful—but it can also feel surprisingly isolating. The Collective will bring together doulas, midwives, lactation specialists, birth photographers, perinatal mental health professionals, educators, and and many other perinatal wellness providers in one shared space for connection, collaboration, and mutual support.

This will be a place to build trusted referral relationships, share wisdom and resources, learn from one another, and grow alongside colleagues who understand the heart of perinatal work.

Through monthly connection, mentorship, and shared learning, the Perinatal Professionals Collective by Modern Motherhood will exist to nurture the professionals who nurture families—because when providers are supported, the circle of care around parents and babies becomes stronger for everyone.
